I am proud to be the owner of a restored, historic farmhouse in Gettysburg. During July, 1863, my home served as sanctuary to a Confederate Brigadier General and his men. I respect this hallowed ground and love to share the history and beauty of these rolling hills of Pennsylvania in my photos and prints.
I love to walk the Battlefields and capture the poignancy of this place; so beautiful and still except for the strong winds that usually blow....perhaps carrying echoes of sadness and war........
Paranormal enthusiasts flock to Gettysburg; it is considered to be one of, if not, the most haunted American town....and one of the world's most haunted destinations.
I can vouch for what I have experienced myself; my home has revealed some mystifying occurrences; I have also encountered spiritual phenomenon in the inns and woods of Gettysburg.
Please browse through my photos in both the Gettysburg and the Paranormal Galleries. Once someone visits Gettysburg; they always feel compelled to visit again.....whether it is the beauty or the hauntedness of the place........or both.
Namaste,
Shirl
